About MCLA

Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) is the Commonwealth’s public liberal arts college and a campus of the Massachusetts state university system serving approximately 2200 undergraduates and graduate students. MCLA is a member of the Council of Public Liberal Arts Colleges (COPLAC), a national consortium of visionary public institutions that work to advance and promote the mission and distinctive role of the liberal arts in public higher education. MCLA was recently named a “National Top Ten Public Liberal Arts College” by the 2019 US News and World report.
